For those in the Ft Bliss, TX area, next week (Tuesday, March 19th) I will host a lecture and pop-up LPD over lunch on the campus of the NCO Leader Center of Excellence (NCOLCoE) at the CSM Onthon O. Valent Learning Reseource Center in the SLDC classroom. In this informal conversation I will present my take on what went wrong with the Army Specialist Program, and how it might be overcome in the future. This history lesson will look at the enlisted specialist ranks over time, and compare and contrast the technical requirements before and now.
